Choose the product lane before judging rows. Each category below has its own evidence standard and opens the matching OrientDig guide on Findsindex.

Before you browse

Categories stop unrelated rows from competing for your attention. Start with one product type, compare the same details across a few finds, and remove anything that cannot answer the basic questions for that category.

Before you open a card

Know what you need to compare

Each product type has one or two details that matter more than the rest. Keep those details beside you so attractive photos do not pull the comparison off course.

Choose the card that matches the item, not the audience label or the trend around it. Once the category is fixed, weak rows are much easier to spot.

Where to begin

Which category should you start with?

Fit is the main risk

Start with shoes, sneakers, shirts, hoodies, jackets, or pants. Measurements and the method used to take them matter more than the size label alone.

Construction is the main risk

Start with bags, watches, jewelry, or accessories. Look for close-ups, dimensions, fasteners, hardware, and material context.

Parcel weight may decide it

Give extra attention to shoes, jackets, hoodies, and structured bags. Packaging and volume can be as relevant as item weight.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Mixing clothing, footwear, and accessories in one shortlist.
  • Judging price without a similar row beside it.
  • Using popularity as a substitute for measurements or photos.
  • Opening a category card and assuming every result is equally relevant.
  • Saving a row before checking whether the source page still matches.

Before opening an external page

  • I know the category.
  • I know the detail I need to verify.
  • I have no more than a few comparable rows.
  • I will re-check photos, sizing, price context, and weight on the destination.
